Getting paid costs more work

Given the exchange rate gap between the official dollar and the blue dollar, plus the state's controls for foreign currency inflows, in Argentina, how to charge and how much to calculate in foreign currency brings a lot of uncertainty to digital nomads, and it becomes a very difficult process in which much of the invoiced amount is lost along the way.

For example, in order to receive payment from a Spanish company, in principle a certificate of residence in Argentina must be presented, so as not to pay the 24% tax in Spain. If this certificate does not arrive on time, the Spanish client deducts it from the budget and transfers the difference to the digital nomad worker. When the money enters the Argentine banking system, the Argentine bank charges US$50 for the transaction, regardless of the amount. The remaining balance is reduced by 21% VAT and the final balance is converted into pesos at the official exchange rate. 45% in taxes and US$50 in transaction costs were lost along the way, and in the end you end up receiving around 32% of the initial amount.

But now you can count on Birdi, a platform that allows you to invoice foreign customers easily, with the purpose of simplifying the payment process, where you only have to choose how to receive the money.
